Senior Manager Firm Wide Records at Morrison Foerster LLP

Charlene has been with Morrison Foerster LLP since 2000, where she is the Senior Manager Firm Wide Records. During her tenure, she has implemented a records system that contains over seventy million email messages and other electronic documents. She has been past president of both the Golden Gate and Silicon Valley Chapters of ARMA and past Vice President of the ILTA’s Risk Management peer group.

Firmwide Senior Records and Information Governance Manager at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP

Brianne Aul is the Firmwide Senior Records and Information Governance Manager at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. Previously, Ms. Aul was the Firmwide Records Senior Manager for Reed Smith, LLP since 2009, a position to which she was promoted after serving as Records Supervisor for the firm’s Pittsburgh office since 2006. Ms. Aul is the current President of the Pittsburgh chapter of ARMA, and is a Founding Steering Committee Member of the Law Firm Information Governance Symposium. Ms. Aul became a CRM in December, 2014. Ms. Aul also received her B.A. in English from The Pennsylvania State University in 2001, and her M.B.A. from Waynesburg University in 2008.

Director, Information Governance at Foley & Lardner LLP

Randall J. Oppenborn is the director, information governance with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is responsible for leading, directing and managing the policies, processes, systems, and team that support the firm’s Information Governance program. These include information security and privacy, records and information management, firm-related document holds and mandated destruction, matter mobility, systems assessment, and education and awareness.
Mr. Oppenborn has over 15 years of experience working in information technology. Prior to joining Foley, he was the director, information security for the DeVry Education Group where he oversaw the global information security operations. He was also the director of IT for Career Education Corporation and project manager for USG Corporation. Mr. Oppenborn earned his master’s degree from Aurora University (MBA, 2009) and his bachelor’s degree in finance from Creighton University (B.S., 1987).

Mr. Oppenborn is actively involved in the Chicago community where he is currently a volunteer for the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Greater Chicago Food Depository, and Loaves and Fishes.

Chief Information Officer at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP

Brian Donato has worked in the field of Information Technology for nearly 30 years. With experience ranging from software developer to process engineer to IT Director, Mr. Donato brings a broad technology and business background to his current position of Chief Information Officer at the law firm of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP, where he has worked for the last 17 years.
At Vorys, Mr. Donato currently serves as technical advisor for the Firm’s Privacy and Health Care practice groups, and has assisted on a number of representations involving forensic investigations.  He is the firm’s Security Officer, and a member of the firm’s Information Governance Steering committee. Mr. Donato is currently a member of the LegalSEC steering committee for the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA), and frequently publishes and speaks on IT and IG topics.

Leigh Isaacs Leigh Isaacs

Director, Records & Information Governance at White & Case LLP

Leigh Isaacs, IGP, CIP, is Director - Records and Information Governance (non-legal) in White & Case's Washington, D.C. office. Though not a lawyer, she has more than 10 years of information governance experience and more than 25 years of experience in the legal field. Ms. Isaacs assists with records management engagements, and her experience includes deployment of enterprise programs, development of information management and related policies and procedures, creation of retention schedules, on- and off-site storage considerations including outsourcing, process improvements, evaluation and implementation of technology solutions, and the disposition of information for dissolved entities.
Ms. Isaacs is a certified Information Governance Professional and Certified Information Professional. An active member of ARMA since 2004, she is the past-president of the Greater Washington, D.C. chapter. She is currently on the Board of Trustees for the ARMA International Education Foundation, is on the Advisory Board for the Organization of Legal Professionals, and serves as a Steering Committee Member for the Law Firm Information Governance Symposium. Ms. Isaacs is a published author and speaker on issues relating to information governance.
